Michael Connor is Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of VitalityIP, an AI-powered precision nutrition platform that connects food, personal health data, and nutrition science to give people personalized guidance at the moment they decide what to eat. Working with grocery retailers, healthcare organizations, employers, and digital health partners, VitalityIP is redefining how AI can improve health through everyday food choices.
Michael has spent his career building AI, cloud, and data platforms that reach millions of consumers. Immediately before founding VitalityIP, he led Generative AI for the Retail and Consumer Packaged Goods group at Amazon Web Services, helping the world's largest consumer brands take generative AI from promising experiments to production systems. He previously led AWS's Consumer Packaged Goods industry team, uniting product development, sales, marketing, and customer success to accelerate innovation across the industry.
Earlier, Michael spent more than a decade at The Coca-Cola Company, where he served as Chief Architect of Coca-Cola Freestyle — the touchscreen dispenser platform that reinvented the fountain experience for millions of consumers — and led Coca-Cola North America's consumer and enterprise cloud migrations as part of a company-wide digital transformation. Under his leadership of the innovation group, the intellectual property his team developed accounted for three of the company's top four innovations in 2020. During his time at Coca-Cola, he also served five years on the Amazon Web Services Customer Advisory Board — the company he would later join.
Underlying all of it is a simple conviction: technology should make people's lives simpler, healthier, and more connected.
Michael holds a bachelor's degree from Miami University.
